Felipe joined the team nearly six years ago and is an integral part of Vista Holdings! Felipe works hard to ensure that Vista Holdings is the leading management company in the Dallas Metroplex. Learn a little more about Felipe below:
What drew you to Vista Holdings?
My first contact with Vista Holding was with Sue Muncy, and two months later, I met Sarah Catherine. Both were lovely professionals, so I saw a really strong work team. They invited me to work full-time with Vista Holdings (at that time, I had just worked part-time with Vista Holdings), and I decided to join the team.
What is your role at Vista Holdings/what does it entail?
I am the Lead Building Engineer; maintenance is my field. I am in charge of verifying that all the air conditioning and heating systems work correctly. I attend to the work orders requested by the tenants, verify the correct operation of the fire system, check the lighting of the entire building, verify that there are no water leaks, and that the drains work well. I have taken courses in electricity, HVAC, and pneumatic systems and have the respective accreditations. I am also about to finish the Locksmith course. I have the universal license for handling refrigerant gases known as the EPA 608 License, a license from the State of Texas as an electrician, and another one as an HVAC Technician.
What would you like clients to know about Vista Holdings?
I want clients to know that Vista has the best management team in the area and a dependable maintenance team. Our goal is to be the best management company in the Metroplex, and we are working hard to meet it.
What is your favorite part of your workday?
My favorite part of the day is when an issue is comprehensively resolved. It makes me feel really good.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I have free time, I look for tutorials on YouTube to improve my skills, learn something new, refresh my knowledge, and make myself a stronger asset to the Vista Holdings team.
What is your favorite thing about being in/near Dallas?
Being in Dallas lets me enjoy different kinds of food: Mexican, Chinese, Korean, and grilled steaks.
Where’s your favorite place to eat in/near Dallas?
The first place to eat is my house with my family: I love my wife, my sons, and my grandsons, and the second one is two: Mei Mei Chinese Restaurant and Golden Corral Steak House.
